Ishani Kar-Purkayastha

Ishani Kar-Purkayastha is the author of The Dancing Boy. She has published a number of short stories and essays, including An Epidemic of Loneliness, which won The Lancet Wakley Prize. Her works also include The Sky is Always Yours in Too Asian, Not Asian Enough, and, most recently, Doctor in the House as part of The Wellcome Collection.
